JaBack Windows Install instructions

Installing for the first time (new user of JaBack)
(Important: 256 color display required)
1. Click on the installer executable (jaba.exe) to install. 


Upgrading from previous versions 
1.  Windows users: If you are using the NT service, stop the JaBack NT service from the Service Control Manager.
2.  Backup your data from the File menu of JaBack (safety precaution).
3.  Shutdown the JaBack scheduler engine and user interface. 
4.  Click on the installer (jaba.exe) to upgrade
