| Description | The user has created multiple 'Open Document' tasks and chained them together. However, when the Chain runs, all the 'Open Document' tasks run simultaneously or seem to get mixed up in sequence or some tasks do not run. |
| Causes | Most tasks can be run in a chain. However, 'Open Documents' tasks cannot be controlled or waited on. Hence they cannot be run in the 'Chain', since they return immediately. |
| Solution | Use the 'Windows Command' task instead of the 'Open Documents' task. The Windows Command task can be waited on and controlled. It will return control to the chain on when the task finishes or the termination time has been exceeded. |
