Title MacLauncher task fails if filename contains spaces
Date Updated 12/08/2005
Versions affected Automize 5.x+
OS affected MacOS X
Description MacLauncher task fails if filename contains spaces
Causes Automize uses a Java Exec function to run this task.  This function automatically recognizes a space as a commandline separator and hence fails to launch the file, if it has spaces in its name.
Solution

Unfortunately, we have failed to come up with a solution to resolve this issue at this time.  Enclosing the filename in "quotes" does not work on MacOS X as it does with Windows.

The only solution is to rename your file, so that it does not have spaces in its name.

We will continue to look for ways to resolve this issue.
