Other ODBC databases on Windows : FoxPro, dBase, MS SQL server, Excel, Paradox, Text file, Oracle etc.. databases

These databases can be connected in the similar manner as the MSAccess database.  Follow the instructions for MSAccess.

Everything will be the same as for MSAccess except Step 2.
In Step 2. Configure your system ODBC DSN:  Use the FoxPro, dBase, MS SQL
 Server, or Excel driver etc.. instead of the MSAccess driver. 

If any of the above database drivers are not listed in the ODBC utility, then you may have to reinstall the ODBC program from your Windows CD or from Microsoft's website.
