| Message | Hello, I have a chain that I would like to be able to execute via a shortcut button placed on the desktop. When the user clicks it, it would simply run. Perhaps similar to the way I am able to have notepad automatically open the file ver.txt by modifying my shortcut to notepad from %SystemRoot%\system32\notepad.exe To: %SystemRoot%\system32\notepad.exe c:\ver.txt Perhaps something like: "C:\Program Files\Automize\Automize.exe" "Task Title" Any suggestions would be appreciated. Regards, |

Hi Randolph, Thanks for using Automize. Use the File menu / Task Runner feature. See the help on this feature. This gives you the commandline and working directory that you can use to create a batch file. When you click on the batch file, the task will run. You can place a shortcut to the batch file on your desktop. -- Hitek Software |
