|Subject||Printing Emails and ability to unstuff .sit on MacOS X|
|Message||Thank you for an excellent piece of software.
We are constantly finding new uses for it. Two things that we would like
to have Automize do are
1. under the check e-mail task have an option to print the e-mail to a specified printer and
2. give atuomize the ability to unstuff .sit files just as it can unzip .zip files.
As a note on our hardware/ software- I just updated to version 6 yesterday and we are running Automize on an Apple Xserve running OS X 10.3.3 Server.
Thanks for using Automize and for the suggestions. Most of our features are a result of user suggestions or due to issues/bugs that our users encounter.
1) For the Email + Print, you should be able to chain together an Delete + Email Check + Print task.
i.e. In a chain Task:
Step 1 - delete task (would clean up older downloaded email for this task. You could probably also archive (using copy task) downloaded mail before deletion.
Step 2 - Email Check task
Step 3 - Print task (would print downloaded emails corresponding to the Email Check task title
2) Automize uses 100% java and unfortunately .sit support is not included in java. The only supported archives in java are zip, jar, gzip. You may try the following:
a) Check if any of the Stuffit products supports commandline options. Then you can use the Command task in Automize to send this commandline to Stuffit ....
b) Create an AppleScript to open stuffit expander and unstuff the archive. Then run the applescript using The MacLaunch task.

Thank you very much for your quick response. I will give both of your suggestions a try.
