| Message | Hello, I am writing with a very specific question. I am running a Windows 2000 Server box, which holds a Sybase database, which runs as a service. Can your software stop, and restart the service on a schedule? I would download the demo, and give it a try, but that would require me waiting till LATE tonight for testing, so I thought I would just send you an email, and ask. Thanks for your time. Cybrwolf |

Hi CybrWolf, Thanks for evaluating Automize. 1) No, Automize cannot start or stop services directly 2) I think services can be started via batch files using the 'Net Start' and 'Net Stop' commands. 3) You can then schedule this batch file. -- Sincerely, Melvin Desilva Hitek Software |
