| Message | Hello... Thankyou for your response. I downloaded V.6 I now have a question reguarding the "Name for ziped archive" when creating a zip file. I'm not a programer and can't seem to figure out a way to have your zip process create a unique filename such as datetimestamp.zip. I looked at all your reame's and also your website for examples and have given up. Any suggestions? Thank you -Randy |

Hi Randy, Thanks for using Automize. You have two choices 1) enter a regular filename in the filename field and select the 'Date/time' item in 'Append To Zip Archive name' option 2) leave the 'Append to Zip Archive Name' as 'None' and for the filename field, use: $%DATE::ppddYY%$.zip Also read the help menu / help file / english / variables / System variables / Date variable for more information on using variables. You do not have to be a programmer. Just follow the examples there. Sincerely, Hitek Software |
