Message Using Version 6.11 of automize. When trying to FTP PUT with the gui it appears to be trying to delete the file on the remote server that I want to put there. The FTP never completes and I am stuck. Please Help ASAP.
Reply1 Hi Lonnie,

Thanks for using Automize. Please use the Automize Help Menu / Email support generator to send us your automize data files as shown below. Use the ZIP button in the support generator if you are not set up for email via Automize. Also indicate task title with the problem.

Reply2 Sorry, The task name that is having the issue is StkChkFtp. FYI..... We just migrated to a new server and the old one was at version 5.5 of Automize.

Reply3 Thanks for the files.

1) To prevent deleting the file if the Ftp task fails do the following: In step 2 of your Chain (the Ftp step), set the condition: if exit code >0, go to step 100 i.e. when the Ftp task fails, the chain will exit without running the 3rd step (delete task)

2) Regarding the Ftp task failure:
a) did the task suddenly start failing after upgrading to 6.x from 5.x?
b) did the task work in 6.x previously, but has now started failing?
c) do you have write permissions to the default directory "/"?
d) have you tried to leave the remote directory field blank?

Reply4 Melvin, Thanks for the advice in number 1 below. I actually fixed the FTP issue by removing the / in the FTP and disabled Passive FTP in the FTP profile.

Thanks for your help......
