Subject Error after copying Automize inputs folder to new system
Date   01/19/2006
Message Melvin,

We are currently testing Automize on Linux. I've downloaded Automize 6.13 for linux and installed it on our test server without any issue. I was able to launched Automiize on linux and everything looks perfect... I need to import the inputs folder from the window version of Automize 6.12 to linux Automize 6.13. Is there any special procedure on how to do this?

I copied and pasted the input folder from Automize window version to Automize Linux, I got the error below when I tried to launched Automize.

got error message ... "java.util.MissingResourceException: Can't find resource for bundle java.util.PropertyResourceBundle.key backup Task"

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Reply1 Hi Josie,

Thanks for using Automize.

Since you copied all the files in the inputs folder, the problem is that the 6.12 messages.properties file overwrote the 6.13 messages.properties file. Also some other required files in the inputs folder may have been overwritten. Only the .jsd
files should be copied.

1) You would have to reinstall Automize 6.13 software on the linux system.
2) The best way to transfer data, is to do a File / backup from the windows system
to a temp network folder.
3) Then from the linux system, do a file / restore and point to this temp network
folder.
