|
|
I download a list of PGP encrypted files each day that I want decrypted and saved to a network drive with the .PGP extension at the end removed. I can get it all to work accept I can't get the file rename to remove the .PGP extension.
Thanks |

For the filename field use (case sensitive):
.PGP
leave the rename filename field empty.. This should remove the extension. |

| but when I do that, it saves the file with .PGP after each letter in the file name.. so "file.txt.pgp" becomes ".PGPf.PGPi.PGPl.PGPe.PGP...." etc. |

I just tested it to work with 7.36. Which version are you using?
Make sure you use .pgp (not .PGP) for the filename field.. (since your files contain .pgp, not .PGP) |

I have tried both .PGP and .pgp, it still does the same thing and makes the saved filename super long with .pgp through it.
I updated to 7.36 from 7.35 and it still doens't work. |

Thanks for the support files.
You reversed the filename and rename filename fields..
The filename field should be = .pgp
rename filename field should be blank..
You did the opposite.. rename filename = .pgp and filename is blank... That is the problem |
