I just purchased and installed 8.03 Enterprise as an upgrade to Automize 7.
On my developer machine I always uncheck the 'on user interface startup, start engine if it is not running. But, even after a save, the engine always starts up when restarting automize with this unchecked. It should remain not running.

I just tested 8.03 & engine does not startup when this option is checked.
are you using NT service?
was engine running when you closed user interface? |

My mistake. I have something else running on the default engine port, 1972, which was confusing Automize. I changed the port and all is well.
Now I have to figure out what's using port 1972!
