Hi,

I have been trying to sync a network share to another network share and it exits with a code 0 after a few minutes with nothing actually happening. It is only a few MB in size and I have excluded 2 folders which has several hundred thousand files which are not required for sync.

Any ideas?

Task.PARAMETERS1 = \\networkshare\test
Task.PARAMETERS2 = \\networkdrshare\test
Task.PARAMETERS3 = SynchronizeTask.UNIDIRECTIONAL_MIRROR
Task.PARAMETERS4 = true
Task.PARAMETERS5 =
Task.PARAMETERS6 = !output^!input
Task.PARAMETERS7 = true

output in tasklog:

Synchronize folders - xxxxx- Start Instance = 4

Aug 20, 2009 1:32:51 PM

Synchronize folders - xxxxx - End Instance = 4 , Exit Code = 0 , Runtime (ms) = 185058

Cheers.

Does a copy task with the same settings (folder exclusion) work? or does it also return with empty log?

Seems like a Folder filter field issue.
Try:
!Output^!Input^*

The exclusion filename should be followed by atleast one token separated by ^
