Question I am running Access 2007 and I have some macros that work and some that don't I cannot troubleshoot because Access is invisible and I cannot see any error messages. Is there a way to make Access visible so I can see what is going on? The only thing the logs let me know is that the request timed out. Not very helpful.

MSAccess will be invisible if engine is started in Service mode. This is an operating system requirement to prevent your access task showing up while another user is logged on etc..

To test with window showing, you would have to shut down engine and immediately start the engine from user interface. check the activity log to ensure that the engine was started from user interface and not Service controller.

It turns out I was not using Remote Desktop correctly. I was not using the -admin switch. Once I did, I was able to see everything. Thanks.
