I've got a long chain (120 steps). For the moment it's not critical but will be more important soon. We generate many of our chains so this one got sent to the clm and the command interpreter blew up because the line is too long. Is there any other way to import data for a single task? Certainly if I could get the task into Automize neither the software or the jvm would have an issue with it.
ideas? |

Do you have the chain already existing on your test system and want to transfer it to a remote system?
if yes, ftp or copy the task file from the data\tasks folder to the corresponding tasks folder on the remote system. |

Nope, that's the problem, I have no way of entering it. Right now my plan is to break the chain into smaller pieces (which isn't ideal but I don't have a lot of options unless I can resolve this). |

I think the commandline limit is ~2048 characters. Chaining multiple chains may be your only option. |

At least until the new clm importTaskFromFile is ready...
