|
|
We have several SFTP synchronize tasks which does not seem to be working as it should be since we migrated to higher versions of Automize.
All these SFTP synchronize tasks were working perfectly when we were on Automize 8.0x. But it started having wrong results from higher version of Automize 8.xx onwards. I think the last version which we used that did not have this problem was version 8.32. We are currently on version 9.04 and this problem still persist. Is this a known problem? Any remedy? |

| The SFTP synchronize task is based on a function inuilt into the SFTP library by the 3rd party. We just call that function and the library does the synchronization. What errors are you seeing? |

For us, all files on the target directory are wiped out.
Our settings; Ftp option=put files
Remote Dir=C:\BKP\AutoUpload
Local Dir=C:\CFT23\exec
Delete unpaired file on target=checked
Include Subdirectories=checked
For version 8.32 and below, this always work and we will get the complete C:\CFT23\exec created on the remote C:\BKP\AutoUpload.
With version above 8.32, when the task is run, all the directories, subdir and files in C:\BKP\AutoUpload are completely deleted. C:\BKP\AutoUpload becomes totally empty after the run. Nothing is sync over. The remote server is a Windows server with a SSH client installed (WinSSHD by Bitwise)
Anyway we have since stop using SFTP synchronise and replace all with the "Synchronize folder" task which comes with Automize 9 (great tool). But SFTP synchronize task would be very useful for our site if it works. Our audit are very strict about file copying over the network. A SFTP method would have been more secure. So it would be great if SFTP synchronize can work properly again. |
