7.x and 8.x can be run simultaneously.

To import 7.x settings into 8.x do the following:
1) File menu / Convert 7.x data menu . point to the 7.x 'data' folder:
On windows this is: c:\program files\Automize7\data or ..AbleFtp7\data or ..jasftp7\data
then click on Import button.

2) The passwords get imported but the encryption scheme and password are not transferred during this import for security reasons.
so use: Settings menu / password encryption menu
Use the same encryption method. If using java encryption, use the same java key as in the 7.x system.
