I have 2 FTP scheduled to tasks to run. One to push files every hour and the other to pull files every 15 minutes. However, many times both these tasks run and there are no files to process. I would like to set up an email notification on FTP failures.
How can I set it up, so that an email should be generated if the exit code is neither -100 (found file and succesfully ftp'd) nor 0 (no files were found, but there were no errors either)?

You can setup the notification for exit code > 0.
Exit codes > 0 implies errors

Just to confirm, all error exit codes in ftp will be > 0?
Usually, isn't it the other way around?

In all tasks, any exit code > 0 implies an error. This is standard procedure for OS errors, process errors etc..

0 = No error
-100 = files transferred in ftp or monitoring condition met in monitoring tasks.

OK, thank you for clarifying that.
