Are all 1500 tasks in the root folder or are they located within subfolders? |

If you right mouse click on the root 'tasks' folder, there is a popup menu with option to create 'new folder'. If you create sub folders, and organize your tasks, it will likely load only the current folder, and hence the loading will be quicker. |

First backup your 'data' folder. You can try moving a few tasks at a time into subfolders, using windows explorer. Then test the task and schedule for it and see if it works. There is a 'task file path' property that points to the file path. I am not sure this property is ever used. |
