|
|
User support request:
I am trying to setup an FTP that needs to change the file name. I am not able to get it to work with the filename that I need it to be.
The original file is named TEST13101501.TXT. The numbers in the file will change on every file. I need to change the filename to TEST01.TEST9.MM00000.MMDDYYYY.HHMM. I cannot seem to get the MMDDYYYY.HHMM to work. Is this possible? If so could you assist in the creation of this command.

Try the following:
filename field:
REGEXF=TEST[0-9]{1,}.TXT
note that .TXT is case sensitive. so if it is .txt, use .txt in the filename field.
Rename field:
TEST01.TEST9.MM00000.$%DATE::ppddYY.hhmm%$
Append to filename field:
Do not append. |

We had originally tested with the Copy task and it worked. We just tested with FTP-J put and have the same issue as you. Seems like a bug in the FTP-J put + rename . The FTP-J get + rename with same settings works.
We will fix this bug in the next patch update 10.07 due early next week. |
