Dear Hitek Support Team,
I need your help in setting up a Log Monitor task for one of our clients.
I have copied a couple of entries from the log format below.
I'm a bit confused of the parameters to set for this task. I used:
Log file Path: {given the path and file name to monitor}
Alert Term: ERROR
separator: {left it empty}
Logging date format: [$%DATE::dd/Qqq/YY:hh:mm:ss%$]
Logging direction: new entries on the bottom of page
is it possible to set Automize to monitor such logs where an entry can
be one line, or sometimes spans over more than one?

1) Please read the help file on the log monitor task. There are a number of examples on how to format the date at the bottom of the help file. You probably need to use the token format with [/:] as your tokens.
2) we have never tested with logs where lines spill over. you will just have to test and see if it works. |
