user support request:
I’ve been running Automize 7.0.9 for two months now. Many of our internal processes have been automated with this fantastic software. I’ve got 28 schedules varying from every couple of minutes to once a day. Our production is now dependant on Automize.
This morning I opened Automize to check status, logs, etc. Only to get prompted for which version I needed to use (Standard, Enterprise…), and then asked to put in a registration key with a message that the “trial version expired on September 17, 2006”. Today is NOVEMBER 16th.
When I re-enter our VALID registration key, it says that the registration fails. Attached is a ZIP file containing our registration information. |

You are likely using standard edition instead of Enterprise.
Please do the following:
File Menu
Set Edition Menu
Select Enterprise edition
restart the software
Enter the key again.
keep us informed if you still have problems. |

OK, that did it. Thank you for the help! The world is once again spinning in greased grooves.
I did not reset the edition from “Enterprise” to “Standard”, and there are no other employees in the organization with access to the server to make the change – I’m the only Network Admin. Is this a “feature” in the Automize program that it occasionally may ask for the key to be reinstalled? What caused it to be reset in the first place? |

1) It should not be asking for the key again. We will have to investigate this as a possible bug.
2) The edition is stored in a settings file in the Automize7 main folder. If you had the edition set as enterprise, it should remain that way unless you reinstalled the software into another folder, or someone deleted the settings file. |
