Check status of multiple jobs?

1) Create a Chain task - Add import jobs 1 & 2 as step 1 and step 2 in the chain.
For both steps, exit chain if exit code > 0.. (i..e. go to step 100)
Add your Make task as Step 3 of this chain.

2) Create a user variable 'complete_flag' = false.
(Tasks menu / variables menu / user variables)..

You can set this variable value (as true / false) from the commandline from a Wincommand / command task.

As the last step of the chain , if all RC are 0, then set complete_flag = true.

Then at 6 AM, run another chain:
First step = variable monitor to check if complete_flag = true..
Second step = report step...

1) You can schedule the variable monitor and have it start the chain if the condition is met.
Alternately, you can have the variable monitor as the first step in the chain and exit the chain if the condition is not met. In this case you would have to schedule the chain instead.

2) Yes, your chain sequence is correct and yes, you would have to create 2 additional tasks for steps 1 and 8.
