Excluding filenames during FTP

Postby melvin » Wed Apr 09, 2014 7:00 am

we are uploading files via FTP job and we would like to exclude some filenames. So we need to upload just files which have filename like 0080995434.tif, 008098633.tif.. but sometimes there are also files which have unwanted filenames, for example 0080995434_(1).tif, 0080995434_(2).tif... How can we set up an FTP job to exlude these files with wrong filenames? I was looking for **********.tif filename setup, but I think that this option doesnt helps me, it is uploading also files with more then 10+ characters in filename. I need to set exactly 10 characters + ".tif" and other files should be ignored.

2 options:

1) for the filename field use:
!_*.tif^.tif

or

2) use regex for the filename field:
REGEXF=[0-9]{10}.tif

[0-9] matches any number, {10} matches 10 of the preceeding (any number).. REGEXF= is required for the filename filter module to use regex.
