POP3 SSL certificate - From Certification Authority

If your SMTPS or POP3 SSL connection needs a CA certificate, you can import it into Automize, AutoKrypt, JaSFtp or AbleFtp keystore as follows:

1) Please export the server certificate to a certificate file (.crt extension) ...
assume the certificate is called ‘cert.crt’ and is downloaded to your ‘c:\Test’ folder.

2) Open a dos prompt as Administrator (Right click on dos prompt icon and “run as administrator” )

run the following commands in dos:
3) cd install_dir\jre\bin
install_dir = full path to the Automize, AbleFtp or JaSFtp install directory.
Example for Automize10, use: cd c:\program files (x86)\Automize10\jre\bin
above command switches dos directory to the ..\jre\bin folder which contains the keytool.

4) keytool -genkey -alias mykey -keyalg RSA -keypass password123 -storepass password123 -keystore keystore.jks
above command creates a keystore (keystore.jks) and a private key (mykey), both with password = password123

5) keytool -import -alias cert -keystore keystore.jks -file C:\Test\cert.cer
above command imports your downloaded certificate into the keystore.. you would have to enter the password123.

6) keytool -list -keystore keystore.jks
confirm that you have 2 entries (your private key and the server certificate you imported)

7) Try your connection again
