Check Email task fails with Office 365 Shared Mailbox alias

I am unable to download email using the check e-mail taks on a shared Office 365 mailbox. The error message is “AUTHENTICATE failed.”. The task will work fine is I use the primary mailbox (user@test.com) but will fail attempting to use the shared mailbox alias (user@test.com\seconduser).

The IMAP connection to the shared mailbox works fine through Microsoft Outlook with the user name as "user@test.com\seconduser" and I can access the shared mailbox through the Office 365 portal without any issues so the permissions seem to be fine. I have also tried escaping the backslash character as user@test.com\\seconduser but this still fails.

user@test.com\seconduser@test.com
