User cannot create/edit tasks, schedules or settings

Postby Tech Support » Thu Apr 30, 2020 10:18 am

This issue normally occurs on Windows systems when:
* User does not open user interface using "run as administrator"
* User opens the user interface using Remote Desktop, or
* User opens the user interface when logged on with a different account than that used to start the engine
* User edits a task/schedule which was created by another user.

The solutions:
* Open the user interface using "run as administrator"
* Give the user account full permissions to the Automize or AbleFTP or JaSFTP or AutoKrypt folder in windows explorer / permissions / security.
* It is not enough, even if user is member of domain admin or other admin group. The user should explicitly be given full permissions to the Automize or AbleFTP or JaSFTP or AutoKrypt folder in windows explorer / permissions / security.
